Craving for Hainanese Chicken again

.

A while back, the baghag sent me an order of Hainanese chicken rice from Chef Steven Villacin's kitchen. She'd been raving about it for months and wanted me to try it. She knew how much I love my Hainanese chicken rice. I've gone as far as making it at home - with the help of a box of mix (with no MSG) from Singapore, twice. But as you all know, I'm not a good cook. I try my best, but I still have a lot to learn.

Truth is Chef Stevie's chicken is so good, I forgot to take a photo of it. So I posted that old photo of "my" chicken, and borrowed the baghag's photos of Chef Stevie's chicken. My instant mix can only handle two chicken legs. Chef Stevie's is a whole chicken, sliced and perfectly presented in foil trays - ready for that potluck dinner you wanted to show off at. And it comes with a generous serving of rice and four sauces - I love the ginger and green chili. This meal was so good, my husband and I had the left overs for breakfast the next day. It's perfect even when it's cold.

Now I know what to bring to the next potluck dinner with my friends.
